Well, having just tested this latter version, I now feel confident in
doffing my hat, because it's exactly what I wanted and it seems to work
fine. DEL2PUNC is also interesting, and so is DEFTO$. Harry's program is
a worthy contender, too. Thanks all! Courtesy of you good folks, my Xy
has again been upped a notch.
