Couldn't agree more: it looks great both windowed and full-screen.
I've found that the Nouveau1 font with 80 cols x 35 lines yields
"true" full-screen on my old (but still wonderful) 4:3 Sony monitor,
yet looks good windowed, too (screenshot attached). I really like
the borderless look -- very clean.
