my memory is foggy too, but I seem to remember it has to do with xydos4's
cockamanie installation program--a real piece of crap.  I've been happily
running XyDos4 under OS/2 forever. I have DeScribe and Lotus' WordPro but
the clean screen, speed and familarity of XyDos4 win out; also I write, I
don't publish, so most of the bells and whistles are of no concern to me.
