It is documented in the file. It is the line "fb>%!PS-Adobe-2.0 ...
clear". Copy the beginning as is up to clear. The Dosprinter/Ghostpcl
interpreter combo does not recognise PS files without the initial PS
signature.

Yes, that driver works nicely, printing the PDF to screen. Thanks!
 What did you change, if I can ask? I'd like to make the same
modification to the other one, as it has somewhat better font support....
