Re: Long Filename video

Carl,
Thinking this frame has settled down now, I plopped it into U2 and it seems to work. One suggested improvement: when I was logged into J:\Eudora7 (which is a SUBST alias for c:\db\Eudora7) LCD c:\program files, it didn't change the directory. But then when I entered C:, it came up in program files. So could you put in a thingy to check the logged in drive and if different from the one being called via LCD, that it would automatically change the drive?

Thank you, Harry. I think I'm a shoo-in in the category of Silent
Shorts About Ancient DOS Word-Processors.

That's just the native DIR/X switch. LDIR calls BDIR/X, which in
turn calls DIR/X.

I'm attaching the frames again, with a couple of tweaks to the LNE
command. If you already have {{5bdir*}}, all you need to do is
replace {{5lca*,lcd*,ldel*,ldir*,lmd,lne*,lrd*,lsa*}}.

Cheers.
