Messages here occasionally contain url links (which is HTML, no ?)
Not necessarily, no. Some mail programs "linkify" the URLs in
plain-text messages. It's simple, really. Just set your email program
to send plain-text messages to the list. If you must send HTML, make
sure that your email program also embeds a plain-text or
quoted-printable version of the HTML in the same message. Your
messages come through fine, by the way. There is a text part and an
HTML part, so the list server is happy.
