Re: Changing e-mail programs.

There are conversion programs to convert from one format to another.

See Interguru http://www.interguru.com/MailInformation.htm

which explains the conversion programs and links to a few,

which also says that most of the modern email programs, including Eudora,
import other formats.

I personally use Eudora and I am moderately happy with it. I tried Pegasus,
but I couldn't get the then-current version working.

The Eudora help line once gave me the worst experience I ever had on a help
line. I spent something like 4 hours on hold -- I tried to upgrade, with
their 30-day-expiring package, and after a couple of days, it suddenly
expired on me, and I couldn't use my email any more. Turns out a bug will
cause the package to expire if you change the time on your computer for any
reason. That's why I never bought the commercial version of Eudora.

One problem with Eudora -- it sometimes trashes the inbox and loses mail. I
created a separate inbox, "IN02" and move my email there frequently.
