I have sent a private message to Michael N. The reason for error
messages that refuse to let you unsubscribe (etc.) on the ground
that you are not a subscriber is almost always multiple email
addresses. If you send a message from an address other than the
one you originally subscribed from, the list processor can't
recognize you. To avoid this and all sorts of other mischief, I
suggest using a single address--and not an alias--for all
internet list activity.
