Recently, a new 386SX system was put in place. The new Hayes 2400 bps modems
were installed only this past Tuesday. The phone company was in over a week ago
and tested our lines and found the noise level was being produced through the
line by the system or modems. They ultimately found that quite a bit of noise
was coming from the internal modems. Now with two new external modems, there is
no noise being generated.
