Okay, I've made progress. I've got the screen colors I want.
Now I'm wrestling with header colors.



I see how to do that too, but I've run into an anomaly. I get a different
set of colors from doing the same L1 string on the command line as when
that string loads with settings.dfl. Can it be that something lower down
in settings.dfl undoes what I've set via the command line? Does L2 affect
L1?



Here's what I have temporarily in settings.dfl:



DF L0=113,71,116,121

DF L1=43,36,33,121

DF L2=102,23,27,27



That gives different results from executing on the command line:



d L1=43,36,33,121



This is, of course, after refreshing my screen to make the new values
take effect.
