Laptop visibility problem











I installed Xy on a Dell Inspiron laptop
and find that it always want to operated in the “DX” (display off) mode.



 



When I type, I cannot see the letters,
until I do “func do” (display on) at the command line, then I see
what I typed.



 



Then immediately it reverts back to the
display off mode.



 



I am using the exact same startup.int file
I’ve used with no difficulty on my Xp and other windows computers.



 



Anyone know how to fix this?
