I would not mind seeing all .exe, .scr, .vba, or .pif attachments deleted
tabula rasa.

That would certainly keep my inbox cleaner. But those who use an Mickysoft
mailreader with default settings would still execute all those active html
messages or macro-infested word documents on their machines.

About "virus warnings", sure, why not the standard one: "Look, before you
execute." That solves the problem right there. "Warning" people about the
latest message title that a virus program concocts i asinine.
