I've been trying to move to Notepad++ with AutoHotkey as the macro engine.
Not going too badly, but what's really needed is a translator from XPL (or
from my own creation, XyBasic) to AutoHotkey's language (which is based on
AutoIt). I may have to write the translator myself, a challenging
 task.
