Re: vDosSet utility

Hi Carl,

Thanks for the updates. But it seems that "vDosSet ;" does not work any more. I want to use it as an alternative starter for vDos-lfn, and sometimes there might not be any additional options specified for it. So far only "vDosSet =" seems to work for this purpose, but is there any overhead for this?

I've done some further work on vDosSet. The only notable change to
vDosSet.exe is that it now traps a bad argument (missing equal sign)
that causes vDos(-lfn) to throw an error when loading.

The biggest change is to the U2 frame, VDOSSET. It now offers an
option, with command VDOSSET/, to end the current session while
starting the new one. VDOSSET/ simply restarts the current
session -- useful if you've edited config.txt or autoexec.txt and want
to restart vDos-lfn with the new configuration. But, as before, you can
also specify temporary configuration options for the new session -- for
example:

VDOSSET/ screen=2; title=Temp; lins=43; cols=

To install or update, download vDosSet.zip (link below), unzip all
files into your vDos-lfn directory, overwriting all existing files. U2
users should CAll VDOSSET.FRM in XyWrite, issue DFA to define
the entire file, and ADD2U2 to add to U2.
