Bill,
There are at least these options:
1) Win 8, run XP in Hyper V and use it to run Xy
2) downgrade to Win 7, disable Virtual PC that comes with Win 7 and install Virtual PC 2007
3) Win 8, and install XP in Hyper-V and install Virtual PC 2007 in the virtual XP. This involves
double virtualization and jumping through hoops.
4) Switch to NB win or another editor depending on your needs.
