TIME STAMP

WE have files from news services entering our newspaper system all day long,
and the time stamp is important to get the sequence of the stories.
Unfortunately, XyWrite is unable to distinguish between 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. In
fact there is no 12 a.m. Any file created or modified between
midnight and 1 a.m. shows up in the directory listing as 12 p.m. Ditto for any
file created between noon and 1 p.m. DOS itself shows them correctly, and
XyWrite also lists the files in the proper order (e.g. two files may both show
that they were last modified at 12:30 p.m. on July 16, but in a directory
sorted to show the newest file first, the file modified at 12:30 p.m. will
appear in the listing before the file modified at 12:30 a.m. Any reason for
this?
