Yes, at the command line, enter VA $PA or VA $FI (note the space
after "VA"), depending on whether you want the full path and
filename ($PA) or just the filename ($FI).

These commands, of course, embed a VA *code* which causes the
filename to display in non-eXPanded views and to print out. To
insert the actual path and filename as plain text, you need a simple
XPL routine, which in pseudo-code looks like this:
