I don't know about hatha yoga for mice; I don't own one. I'm morally opposed to
anything that takes one's hands off the keyboard.

I assume you're talking about assigning the F2 functions to an
ALT-letter combination. To do that, choose the letter you want--s for
save-gets, for example--and then modify the keyboard file, in the alt= section:
 31=XH,SG (for Xy/DOS 4 plus)
 You COULD assign save gets to the alt key itself, but then you would have to
remove it from the definitions table, and (I assume) it would no longer
function as an alt key.
 As an aside, I'm an experienced XyWriter, and I almost never use SGs. I think
I've assigned the key to something else. I do almost everything through
keyboard modifications and XPL routines. This may be bad habit more than logic,
but it seems to work!
