Has anybody faced the problem of using dial.pm (the DOS version) in a
computer with a Windows-only modem?

I disassembled dial.pm and wrote my own program based on it. It worked
great. Then I got an HP Pavilion with an LT Win modem and with a sinking
feeling I found that it didn't work any more.

I assume that I have 2 choices: (1) replace the LT Win modem with a DOS/Win
modem (if there are any anymore) or (2) Add one of my old modems and use
that for my dialer (2400B would work fine).
