Re: vDosXy color modes



Carl is much more capable on these questions than I am, but the
short answer is, the COLORS command determines the background color.  
The printer mode controls determine text, header and mode colors, though
not in ways necessarily consistent with what you'd get in DOS.

You can also remove the COLORS command altogether and change your
MD NM = command in a way which will determine both background and
text color.  For example, 112 should give you black characters and on dark grey.  
240 should give black on off-white.  Or enter a number at random and see what
you get.  There are many interesting varieties formerly unavailable in xy3....

Does this mean that the config.txt file effectively replaces the old
.PRN file? Is the .PRN file now useless/deletable?
