Re: OT: Chrome users, be advised



Kari,

I've heard reports of online banking *not* working, at least with some banks.  
But I don't do online banking, so it's really not a concern for me.  The occasional 
web page warnings I see about "Your browser is out of date.  Consider updating." 
have so far all seemed to be something one can ignore.  Nearly all of my important 
"old-type" extensions still work as they did before.  A good thing, to be sure.  (It is 
possible that one of those User Agent Spoofer extensions might satisfy the objecting 
web pages -- but I haven't tried that.)

 Firefox ESR 52.9.0 is still going strong. I
 have not experienced any problems after I
 stopped updating Firefox. All vital extensions work and 
 even online banking seems to be ok just now.
