Ok. Now it creates a C subfolder and the file. For the record, what is
logic behind this subfolder arrangement?
Incidentally, I see no difference now that this is in place. The speller
worked just the same without it.

I think I didn't see this before because I was (wrongly) assuming that
the XyWin folder would be in the root directory, not in a subfolder, as
in C:\OTVDM\XYWIN. The current download should (I hope) correctly create
the autoexec.bat file:
