OK, barring errors and problems, here's a final version, this time wrapped in an Inno Setup installer so that it can be fully uninstalled in the normal way: www.columbia.edu/~em36/XyWriteForWindowsInstaller.exe The new version installs all the existing Xy printer drivers (from the vDos installer prepared by Kari) to a subfolder named PRINTERS. They're there if you want them, but they won't clutter up the main editor directory. If you've installed XyWin into a few different folders, the
uninstaller may not be able to clean out the autoexec.bat file and
PATH16 variable, because I have no way of knowing whether you
still need the other directories. But if both items only have
strings installed by the XyWin installer, then the autotexec.bat
will be deleted and the PATH16 variable removed. And they do no
harm if they remain. |
