DOSBox-X version 0.83.11 released!



Hi all,

The latest version of DOSBox-X (0.83.11) is now officially released. Being a cross-platform DOS emulator, as usual there are quite a few improvements in this new release compared with the previous version 0.83.10, such as greatly improved cross-platform clipboard features, new DOS commands (CHCP, COLOR, PUSHD, POPD, REPLACE), new BIOS Setup Utility and BIOS screen improvements, new functions for saving states automatically, improved launching Windows applications, file/record-locking for Linux and macOS systems, along with many usability improvements such as 
scalable Configuration Tool windows, breaking from long outputs from DOS shell commands, allowing to change output options dynamically from the command-line, and many more. You can find the DOSBox-X 0.83.11 release notes here:

Windows installer and Linux Flatpak package for DOSBox-X 0.83.11 are officially available to ease the installation, in addition to other packages including portable packages for Windows, macOS and DOS.

You can also download a Windows portable version of DOSBox-X 0.83.11 from:

It has the TrueType font output, clipboard device (CLIP$) and the dynamic_x86 CPU core set by default which are more optimized for XyWrite.
