Re: Utilities for convert XyWrite files to other formats on a Mac

Hi All,

From what I understand fro the BasilikII installation page, you will need disk/image of System 7, and a ROM image from a compatible machine. As I remember, back when I first tried, and there was little support for Basilik as there appears to be now, I spent several days trying to get it to work, and I think I did, but the old mac app I wanted run didn't want to work right, so I threw in the towel.

I think with the support of you people still using Xywrite, you ought to petition Pandoc an import and maybe an export filter for Xywrite, and then you'd have access to pretty much all of the file formats out there.

Just a thought,

Russ

to use it, I had to get a ROM image of System 7, etc.

Why not try it and see for yourself? I wouldn't post anything that needs
extra setup.
