You are correct. The limitation has nothing to do with the clipboard
itself. The limit is on the XyWin side. I seem to recall there was some
discussion of this a while back. Perhaps the List's Wise Persons have
prevailed over the limitation. If so, no doubt they will be more than
happy to guide you.
