Sam: I'll take a look at home. I found no problems with Win98SE running Xy
4.018 DOS. In fact, I've had more problems with XP Windows Home version.

Subject: (OT) Windows98 Upgrade to 98SE
I have been looking for the CD that Microsoft stopped selling a
couple of years ago "Windows 98 Upgrade to 98 SE". I want to upgrade my
operating system so as to install USB2, for which the original Windows 98
provided no support. I wonder if any of my fellow Xywriters out there
might just happen to have that CD, which I have been unable to find. If
you do have that among the relics in your software collection, would you be
willing to rent/lend/sell it to me? (I received a personal message from
Patricia Godfrey discouraging me from using Microsoft upgrade software, but
I think I would like to try it, before pursuing more drastic alternatives.)
I would much appreciate any help that may be offered. I do not want
to replace Win98 with a later version of Windows
because of other considerations.
