In my opinion, another hard drive. Backups nowadays are so huge, and so many,
that you need real capacity. Plus it is VERY nice to have everything in one
place -- not have a thousand disks lying around (that can't be scratched or
mishandled). Fireware/1394 is so blazingly fast, so incredibly cheap (about
two bucks per Gigabyte), so bloody handy for storing really enormous (e.g.
video) files, that it is the choice du jour -- IMO.
