Open the file in expanded view to see the embedded commands. Look for one
that has a plus or minus sign in it (e.g., MD+BO instead of MDBO; the
former has a relative value). These could slip in if you've ever used XY4
and then taken the file back into XY3. Or, I suppose, a typing error
could have introduced a false character a some point.
