XyWrite for Windows won't load

When I double-click on the XyWin icon, everything goes smoothly for a
while. The XyWrite screen comes up, and I get the little message at
the bottom telling me which files are loading, and then it stops. It
always stops at BX230611.SPD. I've tried reinstalling that file, I've
tried reinstalling the whole program, I've spent half an hour on the
phone with Tech Support. I've consulted with Tech Support at the
company whose telecommunications software I upgraded before this
happened. No one has any useful ideas, and nothing I try works. I've
tried getting to XyWin through Explorer (I'm running Windows 95) and
through the Run command. Nothing helps. XyWrite was working perfectly
before this, so it shouldn't be a compatibility problem, and
downgrading the telecom is a major pain that I would rather avoid.

Any suggestions?
