You might check to see if any of the utilities in the new XP Powertoys set has what you need...

Subject: XP
Keyboard remap question
Well, my Dell laptop finally arrived, and I am too
tired and too busy to try and install XyWrite today;
and most irritatingly, the hard drive in my old
W95 laptop has decided to work perfectly well
again. First and most pressing question: does anyone
know how to exchange the Caps and Control keys
in
XP? Some have said you can use the old W95
utility,
included in kernel toys, to do that. But it
doesn't
work, as confirmed by www.annoyance.org, an
interesting
site. Anybody here have any suggestions?
If I can't get
those two keys remapped, I shall
scream. Re dual boot
systems, I have read that
if you want to do it, using
Windows' built-in capabilities,
you must install OSs in
the order of manufacture:
DOS, W95, W98, NT, 2000, XP.
Thanks. That means
to get 98 in, I'd have to de-install
XP, install 98, and
re-install XP. As de-installing is
against my religion,
I'll hope that Partition Magic
let's me do this.
