Paching Xy Registry

I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up. When I ran regcfg, I
got an "error message":
;Key "PDF|PS=kmd /c start " not found:
C:\progra{126}1\Adobe\Acroba{126}1\Reader\READER\ACRORD32.EXE
That was because, for reasons known only to Adobe, the actual path to
ACRORD32.EXE is
C:\progra{126}1\Adobe\ACROBA{126}2.0\Reader\ACRORD32.EXE
(That may be because I at one time had an earlier version of Acrobat
Reader installed, though I could have sworn I put 6 on this machine from
the get-go.)
My question is, how do I correct this? I assume I should go to the
segment of Xywwweb.reg that now reads:
;kmd/c start d:\path\AcroRd32.exe, GSView32.EXE
PDF|PS=JM 2.RegDataQ2 >
And insert the correct fully qualified path there somewhere? Where
exactly, please?
What should I do with GSView32.EXE, whose fqp is
c:\gs\ghostgum\gsview
??
No hurry on this; I have a million other things on my plate. And TIA.

PS Apologies for all the typos in my last. I was fairly bleary-eyed,
after a week from Hades, when I posted them.
