If I was going to be spending any extended period of
time using a laptop, I think I would need to map out
what their keys do with a good hardware scancode
utility, early on. My impression is that there is
nothing like the degree of standardization you see on
full keyboard desktop systems. And this issue is of
disproportionate interest to *us.*
