I'm not much of a windows user. I know how to do it in dos and thought windows
was supposed to be easier. doesn't your fax modem just show up as a printer in
windows? in dos I run fax software as a tsr and have it capture lpt3 while my
real printer is on lpt1. I just go to the command line and hit setp followed by
a number to change my printer. can't you do pretty much the same in windows?
you shouldn't even need a macro. if setp doesn't work, maybe you should have
the print manager minimized so you can easily pop back into it to activate the
faxmodem.
