Good points, Steve. My real point is the way the FDA conducts itself; why in
Heaven's name does a medical clinic have to be raided at gun point? This is
standard modus operandi; the FDA did it to Burzynski in Texas (he eventually
won in Federal court and the judge verbally reamed the FDA administrators,
who just laughed) and to Jonathon Wright in Washington (he also eventually
won in Federal court, with no consequences for the FDA administrators) - in
both cases, guns-drawn, kick-the-door-in-raids. In Jonathon Wright's case
the whole thing is on videotape - complete with agents holding guns to
nurse's heads. It's not justice being served, it's a federal agency
conducting terrorist raids against selected targets, and getting away with
it because there are no consequences for the officials involved and because
most of us find it too hard to believe such a thing could actually be
happening in America. I couldn't believe it myself until I saw the
videotape.
