ROTFL, Harry! Sherry: Choose that name for your daughter-to-be and
you'll expiate it for the rest of your life!
Who was it that suggested VA $FI as a baby's name? C'mon, now. The
system VAriables are a Rosetta Stone of infant communication. A few
of the more useful ones are:
VA MA - Baby's first word
VA DA - Baby's second word
VA -M- Baby's hungry
VA WA - Baby's thirsty
VA YK - Strained carrots AGAIN?!?
VA -PU - Baby needs changing
VA $ZZ - Shhhhhhhhhhh!
But surely you knew that....
I did have an opportunity to see "Blind Man's Bluff" on the History
Channel while I was away. (Yes, even the mountains have cable
nowadays.) Absolutely fascinating -- and you get to see Sherry in
person, to boot! The closing sequence is touching. Catch it if you
can.
