If you don't have Jumbo U2,instead of (or after) a regular SAve run this:
>BX saQ2 BX dos/nv/x/z /c copy /a +c:\null /BQ2
It uses the DOS copy facility from within Xy.
You could load this pgm on alt-S, (i.e, "Save without 1A.")
Oh, first time only: make a (permanent) file containing zero bytes: c:\null.
Don't use Xy to make it, use DOS-- copy con c:\null
Then hit ctrl-z and then Enter.
Whole thing is quite painless.
