Ken,
Since the new Word Processor is to be a fifth generation product, and
since there'll be such a broad range of features included, why not
call it:
Kitchen Cinque
Seriously, though, how about "Express" since that clearly describes
the two primary features of the product.
If you don't like either of those, how about product names aimed at
the two major user segments, scholarly and legal? This could include:
LitigRight
ErudWrite
ScholarWrite
While non-compound names that spring to mind include:
Settle
Dig (perfect for both researchers and lawyers)
Dominate
Enlighten
Others:
SpotWrite
UpWrite
CommandLine
Or if you want to go exotic, a foreign name might attract attention:
Kotoba (Japanese for Word -- might be trendy)
ReportToire (French speakers ought to love this one)
Kakeru (Japanese for Write )
Worf (German for Warp -- get both OS2ers and Trekkies)
Well, that's it for now. More later.
