Re: No more vDos worlds left to conquer

Hi Paul,

The directive "WP=XY,0" alone will never change your actual color settings. It simply assumes that the XyWrite background color is black instead of blue (note that "WP=XY" is equivalent to "WP=XY,1") . If you reverted to the previous version of vDos-lfn, which did not support the optional ",0" argument and will simply ignore it, you should have seen your color settings back. If you don't, then it means that you must have also changed something else when you set "WP=XY,0". Perhaps you should try to find out what you have changed during this process. Hope this helps.

Dear Wengier

I have installed the new vDos-lfn (just the executable) and I found I
had superscript and subscript when I looked at the colour chart.
However when I set WP=XY,0 to get a black background, I lost the colour
settings in XY4 that I had previously.  I have reverted to my previous
version vDos-lfn but the new colour scheme has remained and I no longer
seem to be able to control the colours.  Can you suggest what is going
wrong?

Best wishes

Paul

Hi Carl,

I have noticed that the background for the superscript and subscript is
still blue instead of black in your screenshot. Now for WP=XY you can
also optionally set a second parameter to specify the background color,
e.g. "WP = XY,0". Hope this will be useful.
