From what you tell, you could easily skip a Windows PC altogether. My
advice: buy a new Mac, and a W2K (or XP) CD from Ebay and install it
into Parallels or VirtualBox. W2K iso files can be downloaded from many
places, but you can get a legal copy for $15 from Ebay. W2K needs no
activation, so it is well suited for virtualization use. You can try it
on different virtualization platforms and have multiple instances
tailored to different needs without activation hassles.
