Annie's point about everything in a program being loaded into memory,
program logic notwithstanding, is true. On the other hand, if you just want
to add a hundred or so characters of documentation, that is not going to
noticeably change execution time. I would suggest looking at some of Tim
Baehr's (among others) uploaded programs for nicely done built-in
documentation. On the other hand, extensive documentation in a long program
will slow it down noticeably.
