I can tell you that EarthLink is reasonably good (although their *dial-up* service now runs me $22./mo.; anything faster would of course cost more). Their strong suit is ubiquity: they are national now, with local access points all over, and even in a number of countries outside the U.S. That has some value for anyone who travels much. Their Customer Service _used to be_ pretty good, but I haven't used it in quite awhile. (Does *anyone* still have good Tech Support ?)I hope you are not still seeing any gators floating by, at close to window level . . . .
