The simplest and most ubiquitous way to sort subdirectories is
with the Norton Utilities DS command. If you sort a directory
alphabetically, its subdirs are also sorted. I assume PCTOOLS
has a similar utility, and there are probably freeware or
shareware versions. I use DS every day.
