Re Jonathan Beard's query about the keyboard, in learning
new customizable applications I find the best approach is to
begin with the standard keyboard and, when I have a general
sense of it in my fingers, decide what is missing and fill
in with functions that I know I want. In this case, if a XY3
function doesn't work when directly inserted in the XY4
keyboard file, it is generally not difficult to find a new
way to do it via the Customization Guide. I would also
suggest that at that point you also look at the WWWXY web
site and consider ENHANCE, SMARTSET, and other customization
packages that extend the XY4 functions.
Cheers,
