HS->   Actually, XyWrite has always had separate manuals -- the ones you get
 -> with the programs and those you purchase I've got them for Xy3, Signature,
 -> and now XY4. Very handy things to have.

The first XyQuest programming manual was published in 1989, at
about the time of version 3.54 or 3.55. Although, for the most
part, it simply went into greater detail than the manual, the
book introduced XS to extract a string and gave much more
information about the use of ? for string comparisons.
