Jordan/John:The same is true of GhostScript printing to a PDF, as well. Personally, I rather like the WYSIWYG preview that the PDF provides. And GS-printed docs look good, too. See attached printout of this message (Palatino with 1.25-inch line spacing).Fonts and formatting are embedded in the pdf which this process creates, so you don't need an HP or HP-emulating printer to use this method. Any Windows printer, HP or otherwise, will work, since Windows, not vdos or xywrite, is handling printer control. The HP LJ driver is used for pdf creation.
