Going for the Gold ? Yeah, I guess. It's just that I tend to hang on to a
system for a full 5 years (depreciation cycle), and so the concept of
"headroom" and staving off system obsolescence as long as possible starts to
assume major importance.

I'm sure the ATI is good. They do have a longstanding rep for driver problems
though. OTOH, the #9 has developed a quickie rep for promising features that
aren't quite ennabled yet . . . .
