Actually, to pick nits....

I think Smart Words *IS* the avatar of XyWrite, and something else is the
specialized product.

As to emerging in the spring, it was SUPPOSED to emerge in the first
quarter of 1996. My guess is they're doing the coding in hollerith punch
cards on an IBM 360.

As I remember an earlier message from K. Frank, SmartWords is a

"product" for a particular market, and the avatar of XyWrite will issue
from
it when the time is ripe. I think he said that a beta of the latter will
materialize in the Spring.
