Memory Leaks?

Hello, everyone. Today I have an ugly problem in XyDos 4.017. Several
times today, I have been working on my file, when suddenly there are
other files and binary junk in my active file. It all looks
XyWrite-related (except the binary stuff, which I am not adept at
reading, unfortunately, not being a computer myself). My instinct is to
conclude that XyWrite has a memory leak. Yikes! This problem seems to be
occurring after I run a command (such, ci ... from the cmd line). I
rebooted, but the problem recurs. I'm running Windows 95 on a 200 Mhz PC.
I'm on a Novell network, but I'm running XyWrite from my own machine. The
only other open program is DaVinci email, a mildly buggy but very
serviceable email client from a now-defunct software company (guess
why--and it's not because of the mild bugs). Any ideas about what's going
on? Thanks in advance.
