If you use OS/2, XYWWWEB.U2 has a nice clipboard export/import utility. You just
DeFine text in the current window, command "clip", and off it goes to the
OS/2 clipboard, whence you can use it anywhere -- this from a
full-screen Xy session, no less (which is quite a trick). To
import from the system clipboard, with nothing DeFined in the current window, hit
"clip" and it inserts into your window at the cursor location (even in
full-screen, again). Not too shabby.
